David is right. They made a special key switch that had a heating position in between on and start position. Our Case/David Brown 380 loader has a switch like that. Your key switch is probably broke or someone changed it with a standard switch. You could wire around and use a momentary toggle switch or push button starter switch for the glow plug. A dealer that sells Cole Hersee switches can get you the right key switch. Some truck or construction equip. parts stores may carry them.
