Hi Hal, Yep, I can believe that. Those old Chevys didn't have oil pumps until, what? 1954 or something like that. By taking out the push rods and leaving the 'big end' of the rod on the crank, those boys just took that hole out of the equation. Kind of clever, really. Allan
