That is a Redex. It was originally intended as a 1/10th scale mockup of (dast I say it?) an Essex, but it worked so well, and had so much power, they marketed it. Seeing as it put all other tractors in it's size and class to shame, there was a huge multinational manufacturer's conspiracy to buy them all up and sell them to a scrap yard in Botswana.

Not knowing what they had, the Botswanae melted 'em all down and turned 'em into banana harvesters.
