On the top of the transmission cover there is a small block with a coiled line connected to one side of it. On the opposite side there are two hex head plugs. You can check pressure there for foward and reverse. Front plug is reverse and rear plug is forward. With range seletor in high, you should get a reading of 5500 psi for both direction. Are you certain that your hi low range seletor is not in neutral?
