don't park it in gear. My 801 deisel did this during a drizzle one day, after a complete rebuild. It was in in gear when this happened. I was getting ready for work when I heard the starter dragging.My tractor had not started, but the starter had driven it forward into my pick-up, & the back tires were digging in the ground. It burnt the starter up, & ruined my new clutch. I spayed my fire extingisher on the clutch, it was smoking so badly.
