What do you plan to use to hang the block and tackle? Better use the jacks. Or the boom truck. No sense in getting injured. Hospitals cost too much now. If there is 30' to lay the bin over, use the same method to lower it as was used when it was erected. But I'm wondering where they got a come-a-long that had a cable capacity of 40-50' or more to pull it up. More like a small winch fastened to the barn. It sounds like you have a reasonable time to remove the bin. Try going to an auction on Saturday and buying something large that you can't transport yourself and you have till 5PM Monday to remove it! A couple of years ago a boom truck cost $75 an hour (from company yard to return to company yard), so $90/hr is about right.
