I've got a Woods backhoe, the largest they made about 4 years ago. 3-pt. with self-contained hydraulics. Works OK. I don't use it much, but it's fun to dig with! A pain to mount by yourself...it takes at least 20 minutes by yourself, unless you luck out and line up the pin holes by chance. I save up jobs around my acreage until I mount the hoe, then I go to work. It may not compete with factory made tractor/backhoe arrangement, but that's OK for me. I can do small medium projects at my own pace. I use it on an AC 175 diesel (about 62 hp tractor with cat II 3-pt).
