You might remind her that it will be you who will pick her nursing home when she gets old. Another persuation you might try is to pick the type of iron you would like to get, for an acre lot a farmall A (or like size) would be a nice tractor to keep the lot clean. It would also allow her to haul flowers and other yard decorations around. Come up with appications that would suit your and possibly her needs. Being 15 you might consider some part-time jobs that would need a small tractor (mowing yards with a tractor equiped with a belly mower, landscaping, ect), and depending on your state's driving age requirements try opening a conversation about your favorite type of car instead of the tractor. Its amazing how a parent would want to talk about a Ford 8N instead of a Ford Mustang.
