I usually assume a question is asked in good faith, so will give a straight answer. They will send a gorgeous looking counterfeit cashiers check for considerably more than the price, and ask you to cash it and wire the "change" back to them. If you do, they have your money, and a couple weeks later the check bounces and you have to pay it back to the bank. They have no interest whatever in your tractor- just using it as a way to kite a bad check.
