Can a coil loose it's punch after it warms up? I've tried just about everything to keep my 2500B IH running but after it warms up it still starts to sputter like the timing is off or it isn't getting fuel. It isn't the fuel cap,We've put a short pipe farther into the fuel tank so it doesn't suck the crud from the bottom of the tank, taken out the point's and installed an electronic ignition for hotter spark. It starts great and runs good for anywhere from 5-30 minutes then starts sputtering. after it cools a couple hours it will take off like a champ again. I've all but ruled out vapor lock, also because I can't find any place where the Fuel line feels hot. Any idea's out there?
