Over 4 bottoms, and the plow gets too long &
heavy for true 3-point hookup. Most plows are
2-point, hooking up to the lower arms, and
_can_ use draft sensing, but a lot of us
farmers don't bother, as these big plows stay
in the ground, & diesel has a nice tork curve to
handle the hard spots.

Also, if you get over 5 bottoms, you need the
tractor centered over to the left so far you
almost have to run on-land, not in the furrow.
