Take the starter off the tractor. Sometimes the starter will jam in the flywheel and the engine will not turn. If this is the problem, dragging the tracor risks doing serious damage. If this is not the problem, the tractor pull might have to wait for a later scheduled event. Is the tractor pull important enough to pull the head if necessary?
