I am from the St Louis, MO area and they are getting $125 a cord this time of year, more in December. I hooked up with a small tree service company and get all I can use during the summer from him just for hauling it. When he gets a job taking out a hardwood tree he gives me a call and I round up a couple brothers with pickups and trailers and haul all day. They have a program with the St Louis County Parks where they designate a spot where they haul all trees when they have storm damage and offer it to the public for free. I have picked up a load or 2 from them a couple times.
