Thanks, Mike for the reply. The crawler is diesel. The engine, at some point in time I was told, had some work done on it. It sounds strong and seemed to perform under load (dozing). Transmission seems good but hard to tell unless one changes the fluids. The clutches seem decent as it doesn't pull either direction and turns without any reefing on the levers. The radiator is clear of any cross leakage. In deciding what to offer, there is a JD350 for sale at a local track/undercarriage repair shop for $12,950. In checking with the JD dealer, taht particular unit is a 1966 model. The serial number on the one I'm considering dates it as a 1968 model. Can I supply any other stuff that may help? Bob
