People usually assume they are busted when buying these tractors, very common for the low side to go away, but fairly inesxpensive to get running right again.

Yea, there is an eliminator, just replaces the whole assembly with a shaft, but that is basically the same labor, might as well make it work right again - you won't know how you got along without those extra gears! :)
