Do you have a local propane equipment dealer? That is where I would start as he should have manuals that explain in detail how the systems work. Basically, the propane is liquid in the hose from the tank to the vaporizer. The hot water from the engine heats the vaperizor. There is a spring, diaphram, seat and lever that that control the liquid when it turns from liquid to vapor. This vapor then goes through a slide valve that is controled by engine vacuum which acts as a throttle, letting in the proper amount for various throttle positions. This is how a dual system, gas or propane, works. A dealer who converts cars to propane can give you up to date details. Good luck.
