I have a 70 ford 5000 that developed a vibration between the engine and transmission housing recently while I was bushhogging. I've been told it could be a shot motor or a bad pressure plate or flywheel. No metal shavings in the oil filter. I split the tractor and the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing seem fine, they were replaced last year. The input shaft has a little play in it. Not sure if this is normal or my culprit. If anyone has a suggestion or cure I would really appreciate feedback. Also the vibration is accompanied by a noise similar to a drive shaft that has fallen out of a truck. The motor starts and runs with no obvious problems. Thanks for your assistance. Chris
