Well it isn't like the Canadien people don't owe their powerful, wealthy neighbor a great deal of gratitude. Sure that was a nice gesture but if it wasn't for the US, Canada wouldn't exist as it does, free and prosperous. If anything happened similar in Canada, the US would provide unlimited support of any form or fashion. How much do they save in defense every year because the mighty US shares the continent and borders Canada? I am sure this will get me flamed or banned from the site but it is true. I am NOT anti Canadien in any form but I do tire of hearing Canucks bash our President and Country on other sites as well as this one from time to time. In reality, the debt they owe us will never be balanced. On another note, they did give us hockey, and for that I am very very grateful.
