First of all--I think you mean the orange "dex-cool", don't mix it with green or like Randy said, it will most like turn to mud. Secondly, Dex-Cool isn't any more environmentally friendly than the green stuff, I can't think of what the friendly stuff is, but the Dex-Cool is just as potent as the green. If you do mix the two however, don't bother trying to save it by draining and putting the orange stuff back in--save your money and put green back in and change your auntfreeze every year or two and you will save some money in the long run. TRUST ME, As a GM mechanic myself I haven't seen a place yet that the orange stuff has helped out, in fact I have flushed out more heater cores than I can count because of the orange Dex-Cool and although the aluminum may last a little longer, you probably won't ever have that trouble. The gaskets are going to give you more trouble anyway. Just my .02 Travis
