as long as you don't have hydraulic problems (slow hydraulics, chatter, low pressure or oil overheating), there is no need to look for them.if there are hydraulic problems, there are series of checks that can be done to pinpoint them. if hydraulics are ok, it can still be an overlooked electrical problem.
