If the cub has a belly mower I would think it would be easier to control than a rear mount. What I noticed trying to fine trim with a rear mount is if you need to turn away from what your trimming it acutualy pushs the three point closer.You might put a line that your tractor caN follow a measured amount away from your trees so you can track in this with your blade clearing the trees by a couple inches.
