Not real sure about a six volt, but I bought a "Strongbox" brand at a Sam's club eleven (yes, eleven) years ago and it still fires my small Ford 1900. Size 31 and around 925 CCA. Was maybe $70. I've seen the same brand for sale at John Deere for a fairly similar price.
I think I saw six volt as well at both places.
Personally, I would steer clear of lesser competition. They think they have the market to themselves with the failure of Family Farm and at the best prices are up where they can. At the worst I think prices are up and I wounder if cost cutting might be getting in the way of quality. My personal opinion.
