Sounds like a good tractor. Assuming that there are no surprises in the first year that you own it, what would the tractor be worth to you? That's the important figure. If, no matter what you pay for it, some neighbor says, "Shucks, Mo. I wouldn't have paid half that much." Is that going to bother you? The important thing is that you are satisfied with the price, regardless of what a third party says. If I were buying, and I was happy with everything that I saw and I drove it a bit, operated the 3 point with an implement attached, etc. I'd try to get it in the range of $3K . If I had my socks knocked off by it's performance and condition, maybe as high as $4K. The 800 series is a very good tractor. I operate an 841 and am impressed by its power and toughness.
