10 years ago now, we ended up putting a new Onan P18 in our 446. Had to cut the shaft shorter and modify the lift arm for the snowthrower to clear the starter, but a complete new engine was cheaper than the parts to fix the B-series that needed overhaul. Plus we got 2 more HP to boot.
