Well I have experience on both sides. I bought my Cockshutt 60 from a photo ad here and I posted one for my cousin a while back. My cousin couldn't believe the calls he got from one ad on the internet (not very computer oriented). He ended up selling it (a Massey 44) to a local fellow but he still figured the pressure from other interested people helped sell it. So yes it is a very good way to buy and sell tractors and parts.
