Thanks for the comments. I currently have two NH Haybines,a 474 and a488. Am having trouble cutting the late hay this year due to tangles in the second growth.We had aNH disc mower a few years back but did not like it because it would shave the ground then the hay was hard to pick up with the rake or tedder.Have they changed or did I have it adjusted wrong? i would like to run a disc mower instaed of dragging an expensive haybine through this hay which is leafy second growth and may not benefit from conditioning rolls.
