I have a Ford 3400 that had a gouge in the hydraulic cylinder rod on the bucket lift. It would wreck the seal any time you raised the bucket to far. I repaired it with JB Weld and haven't had any problems with it sence. Just put the JB Weld in the groove and wrap it with a piece of polyethelene plastic so you can smooth it out with your finger. Make sure there aren't any air bubbles in the patch. When dry sand with 1000 grit emory paper. LOL
