Here in NC, we have already had 45 inches of rain this year and the normal for this time of year is about 27. Rained here every day the first 13 days of August. One of those days had 2.8" on my property in less than an hour. I tried to sell a truckload of gullies, but a friend told me that before I started bragging about my gullies, I should visit the Grand Canyon.
