I was about 16 years old when I decided to make some "improvments" to my car. I wanted to take a set of aluminum valve covers, and do a black "crinkle" finish. The instructions said to oven heat the paint after spraying. I Painted them, and fired up my mothers new oven. After a few minutes, the smell of baking paint started to fill the house. OOPS!
My mother was not so understanding, when she returned home. I'm quite sure that my wife would be even less understanding about using the oven as a kiln.
