Around here you can pick up larger Massey Fergusons cheaper than anything else (worth mentioning anyway). A MF 285 is a great tractor it has about 80 Hp and is very verisle and not too physically large. Don't really know the price range but likely around $10,000 would get you a good one with a factory cab. We had a 285 and it was an excellent tractor had good power and very dependable and it was very hard to get it stuck (don't ask me why). There are other MFs of that size range but I really don't like the 10XX series, some are good some are bad. The 2XX series was a great workhorse. Second choice would be a JD 3130. Quite a good tractor but I like the Massey better.
