Diesel hand diaphram transfer pump

I have a very nice diaphram pump that I use to transfer diesel from a barrel to my tractor. I have since installed an electric pump/tank combo and I no longer need the hand pump. I want to store it long term for re-use later ( maybe two or three years). Anybody have any ideas for long term storage so that the pump seals etc. are not damaged? I really don't want to break it down and reassemble it if at all possible. Thanks in advance!
