It seems like a float problem. I would check the float to see if it is leaking or saturated. If it is a brass float, give it a shake to see if there is any gas in it. If it is one of those plastic material one's, then it may be saturated with gas. Also check the float height to see if it is in specs because if it is off, there won't be enough fuel in the bowl when you climb a hill.
