580 b case

I got an old 580b backhoe that had a bad ring gear and main drive shaft ( teeth torn out, etc) Rebuilt it and ran it. Now @ 6 months later I now have a torn up ring gear again. I was very careful not to abuse this machine and don't know what happened. Anyone have any Ideas ( or a ring gear for sale??) what may i have done wrong??
