I haven't read all the responses to your e-mail, but I feel it's urgent to warn every one about this scam. Yes it is a scam. These cashier checks are counterfeit. This was reported some time back in the newspaper here in Minnesota. Similar situation where someone overseas offered to send a cashiers check for more than the amount required for the item. In this case I believe it was for an auto or truck, doesn't matter. These people were skeptical, but their bank deposited their check. These folks in turn sent on the remainder and then the bad news came. Yes, the bank demanded to be made whole again. Beware. The old adage applies, if it's seems to good to be true... Dan
