A word from the other side of the coin - my Dad had a fellow leave a JD A with him to be overhauled. Dad was getting up in years and lost the feeling in his hands before the oh was done. He also forgot the fellows name, but remembered that he was going to China. He had the tractor for years and told me the story because he was worried about the guy getting his tractor back. After Dad passed away, I searched high and low and never found anyone who would claim the tractor. I bet we had this tractor for nearly 19 years too. I finally sold it to a collector who would give it a good home. I think I tried harder than anyone else would have tried to find the owner. One of the mechanics who had worked for Dad said the family was afraid to come forward, because they were worried they would have to pay me for parts, storage, etc.
