We were toying with the idea of putting a diesel engine in it out of a wrecked vehicle. For what we are going to do with, take it to a few of the local tractor shows every now and then, I don't think it would be worth the few mpg more that we would get. It's a strong truck like it is with low miles. Also, I was wrong it is a CT-800 Dodge with the 413 V8 and a 15 speed transmission. (I was way off!)
We probably will paint it up and leave the engine in it.
