I replaced the radiator and cap on my 550 Gas/Industrial last year. I used a 4.5 lb cap. I drilled out the rivets on the original cap cover and riveted it to the new cap. Since then during extended mowing in summer heat, the temp has stayed in the green. I hope this helps.
