Posting a picture or giving a some what better description will help in identification process. Such as if it is a single front wheel or tricycle type double front wheels, or possibly a wide front axle. Do you know or remember the color? Was it for plowing one or two rows at a time how many gears forward,3 or 4 hand or foot brakes. Most two row Avery tractors had a number stamped into the right frame rail right about even with the gear shift area lever, and most one rows had it on the right side frame rail along about the rear of the engine. See if any numbers turn up, some times rubbing the rusty area with a piece of chalk and then wiping it off will bring out a number to be seen, the number will read some thing like this: 11A 11498 this can be translated to give you a year and model/series. Alberta Mike on this forum has put together a pretty fair history ssheet on these beasts, I am sure he would be willing to e-mail it to you and you can also look up the Avery website, it is given on this forum in several places. Avery got gobbled up by Minnieapolis Moline in the 1950's. Alberta Mike ges into some good details on these machines. Gene Davis
