Doc If she is dead as a stone start from the battery cables and work in. Could have melted the connection inside the end of a cable at a connector.Check the grounds first as that is the cable that was making the path that did in the other battery. Battery + touching block/ block to engine ground / engine ground to frame ground/ frame ground to battery -. Also may have ripped the wires loose at the starter connection. Good hunting!!
