I was turning the inner shoulder for the bearing on a front four wheel drive hub, to big for the three jaw chuck so I put on the four jaw chuck got the dial indicator all set up dialed the hub in and turned the shoulder Great untill I took the hub off of the lathe the out side hub was square ooooooppsss luckily I had an old timer there and he saved not only my butt, but my job as well he heated up the hub and he had a cone shaped bar he pressed into the hub and brought it back to round...............Jer
