Farmall H's were made from 1939 to 1953. There were almost 400,000 H's made and it is the most common Farmall of all.
Prices vary greatly from one area to another, and are very subjective. In my neck of the woods, an H as you describe may go for $1000 to $1500. Maybe more if the paint is in good shape, maybe less if it looks rough.
