Looking for my fathers 4020 powershift John Deere

I am looking for my fathers tractor he had bought back in 1972. It is a powershift 4020 1972 model I believe, side console with canopy. It was traded in at Jones tractor Company in Thomasville, Ga. A local peach farmer bought it and later sold it to some guys that came up from Florida that had a hay farm... They also bought a 2955 John Deere from this same farmer... Any help would be appreciated. I do have a serial number for the 4020 it is 250326... Anybody out there that might know who may have purchased this tractor around 1996 or 1997 year, email me please!!!
