Tires:R1 vs R2

I have to have a new set of rear tires for my 4020. I have found that the R1's are MUCH cheaper than the R2's. I also know from past experience that R1's will leave you stranded in the smallest amount of mud. And down here in Louisiana we have more than small amounts of mud. Basically, I know I should go ahead and get the R2's but, man, the price difference is a killer. And I am using this tractor for general rowcrop farming. Anybody else had experience with the two? What's your likes and dislikes.
