Use an Impco E Vaporizer. I have converted 10 or 12 H & M Farmalls using this vaporizer. You have to use the original IHC carburetor because of the governor arm control. You do not need an idle line on this set up. If the M has an idle line plug it. If your LPG carburetor is bad, find a good Gas carburetor. In the bottom of the fuel bowl is a balance tube that goes up on an angle into the gas bowl. You can connect the LPG fuel to this fitting. This is called "spudding in" LP Gas. This used to be a common practice years ago. On rare occasions you have to adjust the length of the tube in a gasoline carburetor to get the tractor to run correctly. When mounting the new vaporizer, make sure it does not rub on anything. The water inlets are in a different position and sometimes the water lines are routed wrong and will wear holes in them. You will like the way your M starts using an Impco over the Ensign. If you want to help starting in cold weather, add the mechanical primer to this setup. While you are at it, add a better fuel filter. The inline "Singer" or the "Century" replaceable filter-pad are very good choices. DO NOT try to go cheap.
