I think what RAB is going on about is that " his tractor at "peak HP crankshaft rpms in TA low" is making more power than it would "lugged to peak torque rpm crankshaft rpms with the TA at high speed".
To say however a tractor, truck what ever has more power the lower it's geared down is just an old wives tale.
Power is a measure of doing work (force x distance) over a period of time. Gearing down does the same work or power. Just more thrust,pull,pressure at the slower rate of travel.
