Ford 4000 I.D.

I own a 1968 Ford 4000. Can anyone tell me what the model # means? I've tried to sort it out but no luck. It is model #D 4024 E, 3 cyl. gas. The Tractor # is C219889, Unit #8L4B. How much more do you need? I know it was used as a small aircraft tug at one of the local airstrips, has a non-adjustable front axle.
Any help would be appreciated.
