On the oil issue, Wal-Mart sells national brands of oil, so a quart of Shell at Wally world and a quart at a Shell station is the same product. Wal-Mart moves too much product to chance selling sub standard oil. On another note, A Wisconsin based "quick mart type" chain, which happens to have two outlets in our 5K town, recently announced that they would give 5 cents a gallon to a differernt local charity each week from June 8 to sometime in Sep. The same day as it was announced they raised their gas 7 cents. That trims out to 5 for the charity and 2 for the gas company. Neat huh? In our town they pump about 30K gallons a week. Nice for the charity but look who is really doing the giving. Any of you folks coming thru our way, please buy your gas at a red, white and black colored station.
