Worked at a Case ag/industrial dealer 75 to early 80's. If the unit realy is solid now and you don't intend to work it to death it should serve you well. The B series was the last of the line of tractors chassis with a loader/backhoe frame bolted on. The were hard working machines but were much harder to work on from brakes to transmission to engine. The C models and higher had a unitized frame. You could have the torque converter on the ground in 30 minutes, the trans axle on the ground in about an hour with no jacks (on a backhoe) if you had air tools. Engine work was about as easy. I always thought they were the first backhoe with a functional cab.
