The first "Long Bar/Short Bar" tire was the Good Year Dyna Torque tire developed back in about 1980 to fix a cab shuddering problem on the then new Generation II John Deere tractors. They really don't pull any better than a conventional or Long Bar/Long Bar tire, they seem to wear faster and wear funny, they look out of place on a old tractor and I don't like them much. The 23 deg. bar Firestone All Traction Field & Road tire is probably the best tire for the $$$$$ for a small low HP tractor like an IH A.
