well ya didnt say how big of a dump truck ya have, i assume you are talking about a 1 ton truck, but there are also some big, like 24,000 gvw dumptrucks with 8 or 9 ft beds too, but either way i would extend the sideboards up on the sides, otherwise ya will have the weight all set on the rear axle, the front will be too light to handle safely, and your rear axle will be way overloaded
